Hi, I have been using this router Smart RG (sr505n) at home for the past 2 years. Since I move the router one floor down, I notice that the internet connection was very slow at random time periods, so slow that I had trouble streaming 480p youtube videos. When I check the ping time to the router, it is as high as 3000ms. This happens randomly through out the day. I thought my computer was too far away from the router, so I added a wifi extender TPlink TL-WA850re in between, but it did not help. I am guessing there is some sort of interference causing this but I m not sure how to verify. I use wifi analyzer app and my wifi network stays on channel 10-11. I see about 8 other wifi networks in my area, and they switch between channels. Not sure if the fact that they are switching is causing issues? The router is on 2.4ghz frequency. What can I do to troubleshoot this issue further and find a workaround? Please Help. Thanks, I didn't find the right solution from the internet.
